Cottage’s History

Built in 1887 by esteemed architect Stanford White for businessman Samuel Noble, this exquisite residence has retained its allure through the ages, serving as a gathering place for business magnates and esteemed guests.

Commissioned by Samuel Noble, one of the founding figures of Anniston, The Noble Cottage was originally conceived as a guest cottage, reflecting the opulence and grandeur of the city’s early development.
